I noticed recently that some Tarzan action figures have him on Mars. I thought Mars was the preserve of John Carter, his Barsoom. Did Edgar Rice send the King of the Jungle to the Red Planet too? Even Tars Tarkus gets to meet Tarzan in this line!
This was a great toy line, I have a few of them tucked away somewhere. I don't know what it was based on - a comic? - but the novel Tarzan, Conqueror of Mars was a licensed Tarzan/Barsoom crossover written by pulp legend Will Murray
