Dennis Mcgloughlin, the artist, bought several Tudor Rose toys from Woolworths at the time,to use as reference materiel for several of the Swift Morgan comic strips.
This was my first exposure to 'Swift Morgan' - was the comic a regular feature in the UK in either comic books or the newspapers? It's not something I ever recall seeing on this side of The Great Puddle.
I don't know how regular the comic was, Ed. I've got a couple of the original paper issues and two of the Adventure annuals which reprinted some of the comic strips, including the one posted here.
