  1. The last images are of the Nazi 'Wasserfall' icbm concept which would have succeeded the V2, had they had time to perfect the design. Its a two stage rocket with an extended range. Awesome! Bill

    I think the last two photographs are of the Rheintochter surface-to-air missile. Wasserfall was another type of surface-to-air missile.The two-stage rocket with the range to hit the USA was the A9/A10.
    The Loon, which was an American version of the V-1 Flying Bomb, is very colourful, and would make a nice model.

    1. Paul is correct it is a Rheintochter (Rhine Maiden) R 1 two stage anti aircraft missile. This one was restored in 2002 to original condition and colours. Only six were ever launched.

  3. The aircraft behind The Loon in the second picture is a Sikorsky JRS-1 is the only aircraft in the museum that was at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The paint is in poor shape as a result of outdoor storage.
