What a brilliant illustration! The perspective is great, with the foreground helicopter to add scale. I Google Lens searched it to see if I could find the artist. I came up with this Mercury pad scene, not quite as dynamic, but interesting lump of sellotape on the top of the art board!
I chuckled at the phrase "the free worlds largest space vehicle" - of course at the time, no-one knew if the N1 was taller than 363ft. As it turned out the Saturn 5 still holds the record. At least for a little while longer.
Er guys ... ...I've just noticed, it actually names the artist at the bottom of the lower half of the image. It says :- Painted especially for Popular Mechanics by famous space artist Howard Schafer. How did we miss that ?!

Interestingly, the similar Saturn V painting that ended up on the box art of the Project SWORD Cape Kennedy set, Roll Out by Bob McCall, was loanable and hung on the wall of a US politician I think when I last checked 11 years ago! https://projectswordtoys.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-year-scoop-rollout-found.html

DeleteAfter Googling, it turns out he was really more of a marine artist, painting yachts, lighthouses and coastal seascapes, mostly out of Florida.
