A couple more photos of our celestial neighbour, showing it early this morning.
What with the unpredictable weather, here in the UK , you have to seize the moment if you want to capture a photographic reminder of an astronomical spectacle.
I was really taken with the orange glow of the Sun reflecting off this morning's Moon. I grabbed my camera to take a snap, but the clouds were gathering, and within moments covered the orange orb.
Once the clouds had cleared, I took a couple more shots before the Moon sank below the trees. I thought these looked quite surreal, with the Moon focused behind the trees.
Those are lovely and very atmospheric, (ironic for the moon, I suppose).
ReplyDeleteThanks Kev. The only downside to taking Moon pics at this time of year is it's usually freezin' cold! The things I do for my art! ; D
DeleteVery 'UFO' titles sequence !
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Mish, I'm reminded of that Image myself. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely set of shots Scoop, the earlier batch as well. I love to stare at the moon and your photos are great.
