Did you notice the propellers on the rear of the delta wings. Clearly, they intend this to be a fully amphibious, perhaps submersible plane, a bit like those in the movie "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow."
The basic aircraft type looks to be a Soviet/Russian Sukhoi Su-27 fighter jet, NATO code-name Flanker. There is a version that flies off aircraft carriers if that is any help.

Nice one Grif - Ive seen that vehicle before, but didn't know it was carried by a Surveyor! The close up of the wheel construction looks awful like the Prospector tyres too! Bill

ReplyDeleteIve seen this on Instagram, flies amazingly well - I doubt it functions in water, but being foam, is presumably waterproof against bad landings! Bill
