SWEET POCKET ROCKET?

I'm having fleeting visions of a sweet I had as a kid in the Sixties. It was a sort of basic hollow plastic see-through rocket, which was filled with sherbet or kali. Something must have come off - maybe it split - to allow you to lick the sherbet. It could fit in your pocket.

Ring any bells?

  1. Kali (pronounced Kay-lye) as another word for sherbet.
    I haven't heard that in decades !
    Must be a northern thing.

    1. i thought kali was more crystalline than sherbet Mish, which is more powdery. Could be my memory thats crystallised though!

  2. IT'S BEEN DRIVING ME CRAZY WITH HALF REMEMBERED MEMORIES! I knew it was red, yellow and clear plastic, but Google searches seemed fruitless. I decided one more stab before I moved on with my life - and found it!
    - of course it doesn't look exactly as I remember it!
