The ship is the 'Blue Noah' from the 1979 anime TV series 'Space Carrier Blue Noah'. Dubbed into English as 'Thundersub'. It's a submarine/aircraft carrier and the lower front section also detaches as another submarine. Battling Earth invaders, about half way through the series it gets an engine that gives it the ability to travel in space. Made by Academy Productions, the same company that made Yamato. The shooter is Susumu Kodai from Yamato. So it's a bit of a mash up.
