THE EMPORIUM STRIKES BACK

A few snaps of some of the stock carried by a local antiques emporium we visited yesterday in Wakefield.

Among the knights helmets and old lamps there were quite a few vintage toys.

I picked up 4 loose Hasbro GI Joes for £4. They're off to the cabinet.

See anything you fancy readers?

Wow. What a great selection of die-casts. You would only see that sort of thing at a specialist fair in NZ, not a regular shop. Glad you found something for your G.I. Joe collection.

    1. There were die-casts everywhere Paul, a fabulous shop full of cabinets for different sellers. Hence the name Emporium. There's a few round here.

  2. That's a cool shop! and the few tags that can be read in the pics show more or less reasonable prices.

    1. Yes Gog, its a great place. I don't get there often but I was pleased to get 4 loose Joes for £4. All from the 80's. I won't see another one anywhere for months now I bet!

    1. Yes, its a stumpy Falcon. Must be from a pre-school or infant line of modern Star Wars toys.
