BLAKE'S 7 PROPS AT CROMFORD MILLS

A few photos from Gary Holland's Blake's 7 props display at Cromford Mills.

First up, the screen used 'Mini Orac' from the episode, 'Gambit'.

Screen used Provine's Helmet from episode, 'Countdown'.

Replica Liberator gun.

Replica Federation guns.

A new addition to Gary's collection, a screen used 'computing device' from 'Volcano'. This is a very simple prop made from wood, a bit of clear perspex, and some Letraset.

A screen used Liberator bracelet.

A replica Scorpio bracelet.

A replica of the Muller Android Head  seen in the aptly named,  'Headhunter'.

Another recent addition , a screen used Explosive Device signed by Gareth Thomas and Glynis Barber.

Another simple, but effective looking prop.

A replica 'Scorpio' pistol. It does look pretty good, and I was impressed by just the right amount of wear on the metal.

Screen used Inspector Reeve's gun from Sand. This has a machined metal barrel making it quite a heavy prop.

A selection of Blake's 7 costumes.

Careful with that explosive device, Gary!

  2. Great props. I've not done Reeve's gun, Muller's head or the Volcano device but I've done replicas of the rest!

    1. Reeve's gun is quite a nice piece, very solid. The prop from Volcano is fairly simple but does has a nice glossy finish. I don't think that would give you too much of a challenge, Kev.

  3. It'll have to be done at some stage, I feel an obligation!

  5. Super review Scoop. Those props looks fabulous. It amazes me how props like these are kept so well for so long. Great work.
