I saw this on auction earlier in the year and kept the pic. Some of the spacemen and space toys have been painted, possibly by a kid. I think the X's mean they've not been painted.
I am afraid I did 'touch up' the paint work on some of my more battered toys, or added camouflage and weathering effects. Usually with gloss Humbrol enamels. The results were not pretty.

Uh, yeah! Several of my Spectraflame hot wheels suffered from my improvements! I even removed the green paint from my Deora and polished the bodywork with Brasso! Well, they were CUSTOM cars! These days, I like to think I was just making the brand rarer!
