Farscape?

I caught five minutes of Farscape today. I was impressed with the outfits and make-up. For some reason it reminded me of Lexx.

Is Farscape any good?

  1. I think this is the other one I was on about ages and ages ago when you asked a similar question, at one point there were all three on late night telly and I used to be catching bits as I worked late on design stuff, the third being Firefly. If it's the one I think it was, it was weird but OK, the ship is alive, and the crew all seem to hate each other but live hundreds of yards away from each other?

    1. Yes. I picked up that the ships alive. There's a woman with a white painted face and hair that reminds of someone else. Blade Runner?

  2. Farscape was really good and quite underrated at the time. Much better than Firefly or Serenity. As far as I recall, a human pilot ends up on a ship with an alien crew and becomes caught up in interstellar conflict. Really worth pursuing, intelligent writing and great fx

  3. Not seen it but I've got to say, I love Firefly. Brilliant characters and convincing scenario.

  4. Farscape was made in Sydney Australia. I never worked on it, but I know people who did. I once saw the hero's space shuttle being driven across Fox Studios on the back of a flat bed lorry!

    1. I love large props on lorries. I would have loved to have seen Gorgo on the back of a truck in London!

  5. It was OK, but seemed a bit unlikely.
