Seeing as I keep finding oldish Hot Wheels cheap I thought I might as well take a leaf out of Wotan's book and start collecting them too. Just when they come along in charities and boot sales - like Superfast. I've no real targets and I'll leave redlines to Wote 'cos I never see any!
Here's what I got in charities in Germany. Oldest to newest, left to right, front to back. First left is 1974. Back right is 2002. I really like HW with the straight Hot Wheels lettering on the base and not the flame.
Do you collect Hot Wheels readers?
I certainly do, although I prefer the more realistic models to the way-out types. But it really depends on the models themselves. There are also plenty of Star Cars to collect in the modern ranges.
ReplyDeleteI'm completing a run of certain classic Redline Exotics, but I will buy the odd contemporary HW car, but only the weird or futuristic ones.
