Found In the Net

Some unusual thingies came up in this week's catch. Check these out. No idea what the grey oblong with rollers is. The little racer says Barlux. The jet is Bandai 1985. The gold Hot Wheels feels like plastic. Is that correct?

According to the Encyclopedia of Small-Scale Diecast Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, Barlux was an Italian company. In 1970 they released a series of 1/66th scale Grand Prix racing cars called the Flash Series. I would say the model is missing its upper bodywork.
The plane is a McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle fighter.

  3. The plane is probably the 1985 release of Leader-1 from Tonka's GOBOT toy line. Essentially it is a recolor of the first releases that were grey. The original mold is from Bandai's MacheRobo toy line based off the anime series MachineRobo. MR-25 is the original Bandai toy model number for Eagle Robo which was grey but was issued in blue/white for the Best Of line.

If you carefully pull the intakes out, that will free the arms. The nose cone should just flip over under the jet/behind the chest of the body. Legs are often quite snug but are revealed by pulling the tail section away from the body and rotating the tail wings (not the rudders) to give it stability. The off model 4 landing gear does not retract. http://wikialpha.org/mediawiki/images/b/bb/Leader1-toy.jpg

As for the roller thing, no idea tbh. It looks like something from the Galoob Z Bots line but I am unable to make any matches.

    1. Thanks a lot Lance. You really know your toys. I've managed to follow your instructions and got the Gobot plane to work.
