  1. Great stuff. I enjoyed the first episode about Star Wars toys. One collection sold for £16K ! This week it's Matchbox. I know I'm going to cry when I see the sold prices for any of the Gerry Anderson Dinky's that I lost or were thrown out years ago.

    1. Yet to catch up with the show Yorkie. Sounds good. I used to love the US Toy Hunter.

  2. Its interesting to see that Vectis, rather than being a large national company is actually a small company running out of a warehouse in Teeside. Considering the prices and fees they charge, I was quite surprised. Its amazing to see the prices some stuff fetches, but unfortunately, programmes like this and 'Cash in the Attic' type shows only focus on the monetary value, rather than the wonder and inherent pleasure of toy collecting.

    1. Really? So small? I'd no idea. Maybe they'll sell our stuff one day!

Yup I hear that, a mate of mine has "The vintage toy monster" here in Portsmouth and he's always showing me stuff he's found and I ask how much he would sell it for and he says it's not for sale but it's going on display in the shop, half of the shop is his collection and not for sale!!
