Having just spent 5 minutes on this, on the internet, I've already found bands called Husky (Australian), two called Mecano (Spanish 80s pop and 70s Dutch Punk) and, I kid you not, The Dinky Toys (Belgian pop), along with a female Norwegian folk singer called Aurora! That's as well as the one I actually thought of ...The Korgis (Everbody's Gotta Learn Sometime). So I expect there are hundreds of bands named after toy e.t.c. related things.
ha ha, great 5 minutes research Mish! Its a whole universe of toy related band names! Love that Korgi's song. Remember seeing it on TOTP. I wonder if there's a group called Chad Valley or Fisher Price! ha ha
This is not exactly music related. Some time ago I was looking for information on Impy die-cast models, which were made by Lone Star in Britain. I typed in Impy model, and up came photos of a girl - seems she is an American fashion model.
