I'm always amazed how Ideal got away with STAR Team Scoop! Its such a great but obvious ripoff of Star Wars. I do like the way they combined Zeroid elements into it. Pity there was no Zeroids movie! Superb collection that, thanks for showing.
Always nice to see more of this line. I love how creative IDEAL was with repurposing older toy lines to create this one. Nice reuse of the Zeroid elements to produce the Starhawk and Zeroids. The bodies of ZEM and Knight of Darkness are slight retooling of Captain Action bodies. Of course not to forget that the Cosmic Cruiser is also a slight retooling of the Evel Knievel Sky Cycle. I always wanted a Zeroid and their UFO as a child as a friend had them and I thought they were awesome. Only toy from I ended up with thought was a well played with but in decent shape Knight of Darkness that was in a box of GI Joe stuff I got at a toy show.
I really like them, Lance, and yes, Ideal really knew how to play the repackaging card. Knight of Darkness was indeed Captain Action's body in black, while Zem 21 was a retooled J.J. Armes figure. The Star Hawk is a super accessory, based on, as you'll probably know the earlier Zeroid Exploration Module 21 release.
