I liked this Mattel Giochi board game when I saw it on an old sale. I kept the pic 'cos I liked the futuristic box art. Does anyone recognise the style?

The box does have the Mattel name on it, so it could be an Italian issue of a US game ? The name is something like The Conquest of Space, but this is really not my area.
