Artist Ed Valigursky was a regular blog icon in MC's early years when we were discovering new things about Project SWORD and Triang SpaceX toys' box and card art.
He hasn't featured much recently so here's a video of an American antiques roadshow episode where some of his original art was discussed.

Very nice indeed - I wonder if he did any kit boxes ?
ReplyDeleteHe was a prolific illustrator, with book covers and interior illustrations, magazines and display art, so its highly possible that he did box covers too. His style is ideally suited. Woodsy was in touch with his daughter after the artist sadly passed away. Theres a lot more about Valigursky on the blog.
