The Moon is getting to be a very crowded place these days. Excellent use of old packaging, to protect the models. The Airfix Vintage Classics line is giving us a chance to catch up with many old kits that have not been seen in decades, including some of the space models.
Fab little spacemen Kev and I like the Ferrero Moon Base! I think I had this set of astronauts too. They will have been blasted by my Dinky UFO Interceptor missile, which could take out whole battalions in the everlasting carpet wars I had! I think I saw this modern Airfix set at Aldi last week. Talk about brand longevity!
Thats a great find Kevin - such a good set too, with the flying platforms included too. Ive still got bits of my original set somewhere, I really must get a new set if theve been re-issued. Just hope the Vostok rocket is brought out again as thst is a great model

ReplyDeleteI had this as a kid and bought a replacement back around the late '90s. I also got the Lunar Module, again a replacement for the one I had as a kid.
