Assuming these were hand-made by an actual artist, I think they are super duper cool. Very much an homage to the cheap Japan/Hong Kong dime-store toys of the 1960s...
One of my fave mini dime store toys is a tiny Robby Robot, which I see now and then online. I've never owned one but it looks so cool and small.
