Not long before these photo's were taken in Dec 1965 my room had been all decked out in a Roy Rogers theme. In the first photo - which I'd sent previously - you can just make out the lamp to the right, which I believe was a Roy Rogers lamp.
However, it's the second photo that I want to highlight. By 1965 my room was transitioning from Cowboys and Indians to patriotic and JFK. (BTW "Fritz" - as referenced on the back of the photo - was my family's nickname for me growing up - still is actually. Long story!

I love it too. I have never seen a bedspread like that, very special. Do you still have it ?
ReplyDeleteno Paul, I'm afraid this was tossed - or mostly likely given to the Goodwill - many a moon ago. I've seen my old Roy Rogers bedspread and drapes on fleaBay a few times but not this one.
