THE MOON FARGO FROM MOON ZERO TWO

I love the Moon Fargo in Moon Zero Two. Do you?

I saw the movie as a nipper in the Sixties. The Wells Fargo always reminded me a bot of the ANT in the Project SWORD Annual. I suppose my Dinky Lunar Bug sprang to mind as well as I played space games in the carpet.

I assume there wasn't a proper Wells Fargo toy or kit. Is that right?

  2. I read somewhere, it may even have been on this blog, that the 'moondust' for the model shots was incorrectly tinted green, because the NASA photo reference for the moon's surface used by the effects team was a set of miss-coloured bad prints.

  3. I'd never seen "Moon Zero Two" before today, when I found it on Youtube. What a great movie! It has a very Heinlein-like feel to it.

    1. Glad you enjoyed it Captain! And great it was on You Tube. It is a fab film. I used to call my toy stall Moon Zero Toys when I had an Ebay shop years ago, inspired by the film.
