A year of trawling Ebay finally yielded a Tudor Rose forklift which provides the basis for Farmer Bell's forklift, ideal for his modern mechanical farm.
Only needed a bit of altering and a lot of respraying (no way could I wait for the right coloured one to turn up!).
Thanks. It's an ongoing project of mine to find the toys they used and use them to make replicas of the vehicles and characters. Somebody's got to do it!
I have, useful reference site. I have tried to email the site owner in case he'd be interested in the stuff I'd done but the sites email link doesn't seem to work for me.
Well worth it, BBC would be proud. I feel like watching Camberwick Green and Trumpton with a glass of milk and a cheese sandwich in hand now!
