Another fine old bundle on past Vectis sales, I was interested in the Star Force toy, which was wholly new to me. I assume the white space car with the two helmeted drivers on the left has come out of the Star Force box. Is it a toy line you know readers? What else would you like here?
The artwork on the empty Star Force box is very similar to the cover of "Promised Land", the third Hooded Swan novel, but without the Swan herself.

ReplyDeleteKevs right, its a definite lift from Angus Mckie's artwork for the Hoode Swan book. The green figures are Fisher Price X-Ray man and woman. The Star Force ship is from the same line as those white and red figures near it - they did a really naff lunar rover and astronauts too. Cant recall the name of the line though.

DeleteThink it was Tufftoys, the figures with stupidly big feet. Star Force is an offshoot or a repackaging.
