Interesting to see. I have heard it suggested that Turner's style was influenced by doing so many paint by numbers sets (thick lines), but I think it more likely it is due to his use of a brush for outlines. Like Wotan, I really like Turner's artwork.
I reckon most comic art fans like Ron's unique style. He's probably most famous for his wonderful imagery on the TV21 Dalek strip, and, of course, for many his earlier pulp Sci-fi book covers, and not forgetting the space detective, Rick Random. I seem to have a lot of printed examples of his prolific career in comics from the sixties onwards.
Now you can clearly see Turners gorgeous style on this one, no mistaking it here. Love Ron Turner art.
