I don't know how much modification you did to this "vehicle," but it sure looks "spacy" to me! With the angular design and those groovy headlights and the flaming orange chassis, it looks like something out of a Captain Scarlet fever dream!
I've done nothing to the piccy of the vehicle Zigg, except add the space station baggage sign on it using the Paint programme. Its called the Snoopy Desk Mobile in reality https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fcollectpeanuts.com%2Ftoys%2Fvehicles%2Faviva%2Ffriction-motor-vehicles%2F&psig=AOvVaw1Zvn_JOBfSoPFYo1FPkJuQ&ust=1616851919084000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAIQjRxqFwoTCIik1IGJzu8CFQAAAAAdAAAAABAE
Its just a piccy of a toy I grabbed online Mish. All I added was the name on the toy using Paint and then added text around it for the Spacex III blurb. It was fun. There are a few 'customs' like this on the blog over the years.
I just had a look at the Collect Peanuts site. Very nice, the Friction Motor Vehicles section has a photo of a boxed example. It is by a company called Aviva, mainly in green window boxes. It is friction drive, and is Style 966. There are other toys in the same series, with Snoopy and other characters from Peanuts. https://collectpeanuts.com/toys/vehicles/aviva/friction-motor-vehicles/
I have only just thought of this - the shape of the 'desk', set at an angle, strikes me as odd. Perhaps a drawing or drafting board, rather than an ordinary desk ? The toy has a small Snoopy figure in the seat. Now all it needs are a few baggage trailers to tow.

DeleteWell, if that thing is basically a stock off-the-shelf toy, its even more bizarre and amazing! Very, very SpaceX!
DeleteHow did you make it Woodsy ?

ReplyDeletePeanuts is ace Paul. The fleet of toy vehicles is just fab. I bet there are a lot of collectors of them.
