A JAMES BOND VOLCANO TOY: LICENCE TO SPILL!

Moonbasers. I just discovered someone made a 007 Volcano playset!
 Do you know about this?

I have not seen this interesting toy before. The writing on the box appears to be French. Here is what I could find.
The book The Essential Bond has a chapter on each film, including a section on Marketing and Merchandising. This says 'One of the rarest pieces of Your Only Live Twice memorabilia is a children's playset based on the SPECTRE volcano lair. Sold only in France, the toy is among the most expensive and sought-after of all Bond collectables.'. There are no pictures.
The James Bond Toys site has this photo, and one other showing the interior. It describes the volcano as vac-formed plastic, with a composite base, a firing rocket that launches a satellite, lights, and a packet of poor quality figures.
I do remember that among the vehicles in the lair was a yellow Mini Moke - a popular vehicle with Bond villains. No idea if one was included in the set.

  2. Cool! That could be used in several of our toy scenarios.
