SUPERMAN IS LOSING FANS

I've seen some daft knockoff names but this takes the biscuit.

Super Man Car!

Its neither Supe nor a car! Maybe its the wrong toy in the bubble!

Anyone recognise the figure?

Shame its not Spanish, then you could read it as Super Mancar (mancar; to cripple, maim) ie Super Crippler or Super Maimer, nice name for a destructive robot thing. Unfortunately as its Italian, the best I can manage is Super Lacking . Gawd only knows what these things are meant to be, but theres a bunch up for sale on ebay from Italy.

  4. Well, wait no more, for I know exactly what this toy is. This is a bootleg of UFO Robot Grendizer. You may know it as Goldrake depending where you live in the world. The biggest clue are the joined horns on the head, they are unique. Other clues, if one looks closely, are the triangles on the forearms, the fins on the legs, and the feet. Here is what Grendizer looks like in the anime https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/mazinger/images/1/1d/Bnjkm.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/340?cb=20170804203739

Here in the states, we got Grendizer as part of the Force Five cartoon series only it was slightly renamed as Grandizer. It is the third entry in the Mazinger Saga. Mazinger Z (Tranzor Z in the US) Great Mazinger, Grendizer and so many more, all from the great mind of Go Nagi.

More info than you want can be found here

    2. Alas I've never seen anything Japanese on UK Tv other than my beloved Marine Boy in the Sixties. Having said that I didn't really watch telly between 1977 and 1987. Too busy having fun!
