Here's a few photos of the prototype Sixteen 12 Micro Laboratory Eagle. It's 51/2" long, with detachable booster rockets, and laboratory/survey pod, aluminium engine bells, and all comes with an in-scale Moonbase Alpha Moon buggy. (which is very, very small!)
The Moonbase Alpha Launch pad is sold separately.
As I've mentioned on my previous Micro Eagle posts, as some people are just looking for something wrong, this is just a 3D printed prototype model, so finer details, out of line leg pods, drooping engine bells, etc. won't look like that on the finished models.
I think it looks brilliant Scoop. If its a 3D model then it looks the business. Your gritty setting is fabulous and the lighting is the icing on the cake. These 3D models must be fragile to ship around the country. I bet they're well packed by 16/12. Great shots again Scoop. Glad to see Sixteen Twelve models on the Gerry Anderson Store. Are they your photos on there Scoop?
ReplyDeleteThey do look good, although they are only the prototypes. The finished models will, I'm sure be more robust and will have the finishing touches. Sixteen 12 send them to me by courier, all safely packed for photographing, but sometimes, as the prototype plastic is quite brittle, it needs the odd small repair.
DeleteMy photos of Sixteen 12's models do appear on the Gerry Anderson store site, as well as Fabgearusa and Monsters in Motion sites. They probably apoear on other sites I'm not aware of, too.
