What a beautiful pair! Like Dinky's Anderson offerings, the original buggy was much more of a "toy" colour scheme rather than "screen accurate" It's interesting to see Corgi re-released it with a more accurate paint job at some point.
As a Kid, I hated these "silly" colour schemes, but I have to say that wearing my day-glo pink nostalgia glasses, I think it original looks great now!
I find it very nostalgic too, Lewis. I've got the Mach 1 Mustang DAF Corgi toy too, but it just doesn't have the same nostalgic buzz as the Moon Buggy.
I did not know this beautiful SF vehicle existed. It is sublime beyond words...

DeleteThe new one (which I have) doesn't look to be from the original moulds. They must've made new ones for the reissue.
