I'VE NEVER SEEN KRULL

I've never seen Krull.

I see the seemingly iconic claw thrower allover when I see Krull posters and stuff.

And here too, on this display box of Krull card games from back in the day.

I'm always fascinated how B-movies manage to get merchandised and in what form. Licences can go to all sorts of companies. This looks like Parker I think.

Still, I've no idea what the film was about so I'd be rubbish at the card game!

Have you seen Krull and were there any toys?

  1. How is it possible to have never seen Krull? It must have been on the telebox at least a dozen times this year-I've watched it twice over the last few months. Is it worth watching? Well I suppose at least once to see Derek Meddings' work. Unfortunately the film is let down by the fact it went through loads of rewrites and changes to the sets during filming. And,even worse, the lovely Lysette Anthony got dubbed as she sounded too British. I think I saw it at the cinema when it originally came out. Toyswise I only remember seeing the spinny blade thing everywhere (which despite it being all over the ads, posters etc , makes very few appearances in the film).
Its one of those films that could have been much better than it ended up.
    Watch it.
Go on, you know you want to.
Next Friday its on one of the Sony movie channels.

    1. you know it well Timmy! great that you saw it at the flicks. I didn't know Derek Meddings was involved. I will try to catch it soon. My little Grandkids are here this Friday so it'll have to be a later airing. PS. Never seen Kull the Conqueror either! You?

I've seen Kull the Conqueror 2 or 3 times on the telebox. The 1st time I was confused by the title and thought it would be Krull that I would be watching! Doh!
Anyway, given the choice I'd rather watch Krull over Kull, which is just an inferior Conan (the Arnie Conan films are masterpieces compared to Kull)

    1. You've seen everything Timmy! I think you work in a cinema! I also remember Kull as an American comic, a bit like Ka-Zar. Kull may have been part of the Where Monsters Prowl Marvel brand. I can see Kull slaying a huge monster python. I shall leave you to slay the sausages.
