The only Action Man I have in my collection has the "life like" hair but then again he has "eagle eyes" and is in a vintage FFL uniform so who am I to judge?
All my others are Joes which makes sense as I'm in the US, lol. The first Joe I got, at Christmas even!, was a talking pilot. I'm fairly certain he was blonde when I got him but he's had black hair for decades as I recall careful use of a Sharpie made him more relatable (and matched my hair color). No sign of hat pattern baldness nor paint rubs, he just has shot leg elastic which I'm working on fixing while not replacing it. 100% vintage!
Controversial I know ... but real Action Men don't have artificial hair. Just a sculpted plastic piece.
