Thanks Paul. As everyone will probably know the model building is something I knocked up out of MDF and Perspex to resemble Neptune House, now part of BBC Elstree.
A great build! Having started off in Architectural Modelling before getting into VFX, I appreciate the precision required to just build an "ordinary building"! The funny thing is, without Straker's car a lot of people would go "yeah?" but it's the setting that really makes the stage for the actors to walk upon. Now, I really can't wait for my Dinky Straker to arrive from Ukraine!
That's excellent!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kev :)
DeleteNow that is a proper Ed Staker's Car !
ReplyDeleteMish.
I do like the Dinky, but I would have liked Airfix to have done a nice 1:25 scale kit of one at the time, Mish
DeleteStunning. I especially love the building, which sets the model off perfectly, another building just visible in the background. First class.

Thanks Lewis, and I agree, you're absolutely right, I do think an apt backdrop or Interesting diorama does help show off a model.
DeleteBrilliant work When I was booked to work on Holby City last month that's the entrance I had to walk through each morning lol
ReplyDeleteFenton
Thanks Fenton, I'm glad you recognised it ;)
DeleteLucky you for getting the chance to do a 'Straker' and walk through that entrance!
