I don't know if this still relevant as the original post was done three years ago!
I recently came across this on Ebay quite accidentally as it was on my regular searches. I tried doing research on it with no success. Thought I would bid on it anyway as it looked so similar to the Lincoln Toys TB1. I won it with no opposition.
After the win I tried more research and it wasn't until then that I came across your article, that I could verify what it actually was. On the listing it was under the maker Califax and not Calfax. It's surprising the difference a letter can make!
I have attached a few photos of the find.
I didn't know if it was still any interest but I thought I would email anyway.
