I bought two of these when they were first released without the figures, then had to buy another one when it was reissued with Batman & Robin. Gave one of the figureless cars to someone as a present a year or so back so I only have two cars in this size now (this is the big one, yeah?), but that's more than enough for any Bat-fan. Great model. (Mine are slightly more detailed, and the radar thingie on the bonnet is made out of tin.)
Yeah, there was several variations of this, and naturally differences in price. Some had obsessive amounts of detail, but for me this one offered what I thought was best value for money. Lovely display model whatever version you've got.
Batman 66! I was tempted to get a 1/8 scale version of the Batmobile for Mego sized figures, but where would I put it? I just bought a graphic novel that teamed up Batman 66 with The Man from Uncle, which was a pleasant read!

ReplyDeleteYep I purchased the very same B-mobile actually dressed as Batman at the London Film and Comic con 2008! -MJ Southcoast base

ReplyDeleteSounds good, Lewis.I picked up the Batman '66 graphic novel featuring The Green Hornet which is pretty good.
DeleteI read the Batman '66 Meets Steed & Mrs. Peel. The story which would have been an interesting TV show rather than a comic version
ReplyDeleteNot read it myself, Terra, sounds intriguing though.
