This is why I love this blog. From nowhere you've conjoured up a childhood memory of me going into the local Y.E.B. shop (Yorkshire Electricity Board) to pay the electric bill with my mum and seeing these guys on display, near the vacuum cleaners, in store. I'd never have thought of them again in my life, but for that. Cheers Woodsy and Kev! Mish.
I recall seeing them somewhere, but forever removed behind glass and not for sale! As a kid, I could never understand why cool ‘toys’ like this were not intended for children. Like the Esso Blue figure, it just cries out to be played with!
