Tucked away on my bookshelf, I came across the Terrahawks Blueprint set from 1983, with illustrations by Philip Rae.
Not very detailed, but gives a fair approximation of each of the main vehicles and some general specs.
Cover price for the six blueprints and a vague copy of 'pre-productions sketches' in a plastic wallet was £4.95!
They are very nice. I have used some of his other Anderson blueprints when scratchbuilding before now, very handy!
ReplyDeleteThese look great Bill. Did they come in a folder originally? I once wrote to Phil Rae in the 90's and asked if he knew of Project SWORD at the Blackpool exhibition back then. He didn't.
ReplyDeleteI have some of his other Anderson show blueprints from the S.I.G. fan magazines of the 1980s.

Also, I met him once or twice in a sci fi collectors market shop/stall in Manchester, in the mid 80s, called 'Telefan'.
