Hawk Eyed

Tucked away on my bookshelf, I came across the Terrahawks Blueprint set from 1983, with illustrations by Philip Rae.
Not very detailed, but gives a fair approximation of each of the main vehicles and some general specs.
Cover price for the six blueprints and a vague copy of 'pre-productions sketches' in a plastic wallet was £4.95!

  1. They are very nice. I have used some of his other Anderson blueprints when scratchbuilding before now, very handy!

  2. These look great Bill. Did they come in a folder originally? I once wrote to Phil Rae in the 90's and asked if he knew of Project SWORD at the Blackpool exhibition back then. He didn't.

  3. I have some of his other Anderson show blueprints from the S.I.G. fan magazines of the 1980s.
    They're very good indeed.
Also, I met him once or twice in a sci fi collectors market shop/stall in Manchester, in the mid 80s, called 'Telefan'.
    Mish.
