HSI AQUACAR

I had one of these as a nipper in the Sixties.

I saw this on an old auction.
Check out the Aquacar, an amphibious plastic toy car-boat based on the Ford GPA.

This great toy model was originally based on a WW2 military vehicle. The toy measured approx 23.5 cm long and it was made in Hong Kong by HSI in the 1960's.

I'm pretty sure I had it working in the bath along with my Billy Bastoff Scuba Diver!

Did you have an Aquacar readers?

    1. Yeah, reminds me of a 2CV Geoffrey but it was a great toy and easilly sailed around the bath. My frogman Action Men kept bumping into it!
