Its weird. Lockdown. This must be the sixth or seventh Saturday today. Nearly two months! Where did the time go? Down a lockdown plug-hole! I'm sort of getting used to it now though, being at home. Are you?
Today the sun is out first time this week so we'll go for a visit to ... the garden! Maybe a bit of weeding and pricking out and read another chapter of my latest cheapo horror, the Skull. Moonbase Mutt Blue will need walkies too, our daily outdoor allowance. I've never seen as many couples out walking ever.
What are you doing today readers? Working? Stuck at home? Cooking? Walking the dog? Helping someone? Sleeping? What?
As the university is locked up, all services are offered online, so i'm working from home! Have to admit I am going a bit loopy now, having to spend all week gawping at a screen isnt good for my mental health!
ReplyDeleteI tackled the lawn then sat back on an ancient garden bench and lost myself amongst the pages of a book as the sun shone down. Meanwhile, my better half potted a few plants as a choir of local wood pigeons provided a background accompaniment. A peaceful and relaxing day really, Woodsy :)
ReplyDeleteI consider myself super-lucky, I work at a radio station, which is considered an "essential business" even though all we play is music, so I've been working as usual this whole time. My wife is a teacher, so she has been communicating with her students via "distance learning", i.e. everybody sending in lessons from their free Chromebooks! What a weird world it has become! I do miss not being able to go out to eat, though - that's really something I miss!
ReplyDeleteMaking final tweaks to my electroforming tank before having another go at making my own metal moulds for vinyl toys!
ReplyDeleteThanks and Keep going guys! There is light at the end of the lockdown!
