If like me you love action figures then this may interest you, the top 30 rarest.
I know rarity and value are not that important to many collectors and I certainly can't afford to be choosy anymore - although I do own one of them, number 16 - but the thought that these scarce treasures are still out there is alluring nonetheless.
So, one of the many such lists online, here's one I liked from the Gamer:

What do you think?
I have 3 Mego Spidey's, a pair of 8 inch and a 12 inch, I won them all in different mail away competitions either from comics or my local paper! - MJ Southcoast base
ReplyDeletePictures please MJ. You're a born winner!
DeleteIve got Yak Face and hair like Megator!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say that Wote. We all look bad in a mornin!
DeleteAn interesting list and perfect Sunday morning read, thanks Woodsy. That Ghost Rider is really wild, do you have his motorcycle and all? Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI'd just hope that there would be separate lists for prototypes & test runs and for those toys that really came on the market, making them eligible for everyman's treasure hunt!
The prices quoted on the list must be for mint boxed examples where applicable. Got a couple of loose Yak Faces, but the price of $3.000 has to be for carded ones. I believe the realistic price for a loose one would be somewhere around £200.
Glad you liked it Arto. Yep, Ghost Rider is complete and carded. I got it to create interest on my old toy stall. A prototypes list must exist somewhere. I used to love the old Toy Hunter TV series when he found prototypes. Well done on your Yaks.
