Agreed! The only thing that Star Wars accomplished, for me anyways, was to create a whole new wave of knock-offs - movies and toys and books and other merchandise. My favorite Star Wars knockoff movies are The Humanoid, Starcrash and Message From Space, with Yor: Hunter From the Future a close runner-up. And all the crazy SF toys to come in the wake of that overrated behemoth! Yow!
