MORE MOONING

As we appear to be on an astronomy kick on Moonbase at the moment here's a shot of tonight's waxing gibbous Moon giving a nice view of prominent lunar craters Tycho with it's large ray system on the right, and Copernicus with its less distinct rays on the left, with Kepler just below it.

    1. We're really being spoilt at the moment with clear skies, Kev.

    1. Thanks Woodsy. I'd love to upgrade my telescope to get a better focus, but I"m happy at the moment. I'm hoping for a few (probably fuzzy!?) shots of Saturn or Jupiter when they might be visible during the early evening during this month.
