According to the listing for Hansons Auctioneers, these are props from the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang stage show rather than the film. Although I would still not mind Chitty Chitty Bang Bang herself, or that rather nice Zeppelin. The cars seem rather smaller than the film cars, which would make storage less of a problem - although I think both would still be out of my price range, especially with shipping to NZ.
ReplyDeleteAh, well spotted Paul. I did think they were the film props! Doh. Didn't realise they had a stage show. I'm just watching Charles Hanson the auctioneer on TV at the mo! Small world!
