Classic SF illustration such as this brings me instantly back to the glory days of Supermarionation. Can you imagine being that talented? I sure can NOT! That forced perspective was what really made those golden-age SF illustrations so powerful.
Yeah and those super talented artists were available to us every week eh Zigg in comics like Creepy and Eerie in the US and TV21 here in the UK.
