  1. I love this cover Paul. Very topical at the moment as well. The lady reminds me of Liv Tyler if she was playing the role of Tomb Raider. Keep up the great art work.

    1. OK ta Paul! You never know what might pop up here! Tell me, when you've finished your porridge, are they LP's on the cover? Who is Von Scott? A character in the story?

  4. Yup, they're LPs. I think the concept came from the writer, Paul Scott (or Paul Von Scott as he sometimes called himself). I thought it was quite a nice way getting title and credits in the image. Things may not be great but at least we're not at this stage, yet!

    1. Interesting Paul. I like the idea of looking through a stack of LP's as the sun sets one last time! The title, Last Days of Man, reminds me of a painting called Boys in the Last Tree I once blogged. It was painted by Stephen Lack, a Canadian artist. I know him better as Cameron Vale, the co-lead in the sci-fi horror flick Scanners from 1981 https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sEH7mNUn_Lw/WVZkpLi36PI/AAAAAAAAxfk/tDYz8wfbM60KxBrEOO6i88lXeosaBTAigCLcBGAs/s1600/last%2Btree.jpg Do you like the painting Paul?

But there are two trees in that painting, not one, so the title The Last Tree does not make sense. No idea what the thing in the background is - a mushroom cloud, rock, another tree ?
