Took a snap of this little shelf corner 'cos there's a neat gathering of odd toys forming.
From left to right: home made photonic station, Hover LEM wheel, mystery torpedo, Keloggs Mr. Rusty [I think], Trader Joe [thanks Lance] and a 1977 Kenner Darth Vader in a bag with a plastic doll's house telephone [he likes to chat].
As interesting as the toys are,I am curious about the decoration behind them.It looks like some kind of sea animal attached with brass rods to a piece of burled wood.Am I correct?I have something similar on my bookshelf.
ReplyDeleteha ha, its a ceramic bird on a wooden base. The rods are legs! It was gift but I forget from whom! Shameful!

ha ha, of course, you told me it was Jones Lance! Doh! Yeah, I wondered about Mr. MacHenry. The look similar.
