Loved my annuals as a kid, and still got most of my original ones. The Century 21 annuals were the best. Wasn't as keen on the World Distributors Annuals, too many text stories, although a few had Gold Key comic reprints inside.
Probably second-hand Eagle Annuals were the most re-read. Started my enthusiasm for Dan Dare. I was always disappointed that the TV21 Annual stories were not as well drawn as the weekly.
The Rupert Annual of 1964...
ReplyDeleteThe UFO annual. I still have my original one.
ReplyDeleteCatweazle and The Avengers (I only had a Tara King edition, not an Emma Peel).
ReplyDeleteSword and the 1969 TV21
