HOT WHEELS COCKNEY CAB IN CONNECTICUT

Hello Woodsy,

We're up in a cold Connecticut and I photographed my newly acquired modified Cockney Cab.

I love it because someone has gone to the trouble of Hot Rodding a Hot Rod!

I think it's likely that I'll be buying Hot Wheels in the future as they're more fun than I thought.

  1. Hot Wheels are great wee things. I still buy the occasional Mattel and Matchbox car - in fact, I think Mattel own the Matchbox name these days.

  2. Mattel bought Corgi Juniors years ago. The Austin FX4 taxi casting then became a Hot Wheels issue. Then they came out with Cockney Cab II. Photos to follow.........

    1. They bought Matchbox years ago, I knew that, but I was uncertain if they still owned them because things always seem to be getting acquired by someone else. (Like Hornby acquiring Corgi a few years back.) I'm not sure if Corgi Juniors are still produced, but if they are, they'll be made by Corgi/Hornby.
