Before I embark on doing a proper look at the Corgi Aston Martin DB5, here's a teaser pic of some of my Bond buggies (and one or two other classic Corgi toys, with the odd Dinky thrown in) in the display cabinet.
Cheers Kid. I got the Thrushbuster in its original box years ago, but unsurprisingly was missing the Waverly Ring. I did find a pretty good repro one a while back though which looks the part. Pity Corgi didn't do a larger size Piranha.
While we're waiting for Scoop's post, why not jump over to Crivens & Stuff and type Corgi Toys Aston Martin into its search box? There are some interesting posts about the iconic car (with great pictures) from top to bottom of the page.
That is a nice display. I am always struggling to display things well.
ReplyDeleteThanks kev.The usual problem is I never have enough space to display everything, so I occasionally have refresh what's in there.:)
DeleteNiiiice display!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lewis.
DeleteLovely. I have most of them, though my Thrushbuster doesn't have a box. Will probably buy a facsimile at some stage.
